Aliya is a “creative, caring, and energetic” young woman whose passion for music has been her guiding light, especially during difficult times. She’s a talented singer, pianist, and guitarist who already captivates audiences at 17. Her wish was to learn the process of songwriting by working with a professional in the industry, gaining skills that empowered her to express her own voice. 

For her wish, Aliya worked with Grammy nominated songwriter Justin Tranter, who has written songs many well-known artists. The two explored the ups and downs of Aliya’s journey, how it has impacted who she is today, and translated her experiences to create the lyrics of “Nice to Meet You.”
