Wish Kid

Florence's wish to have a play farmyard at her preschool brought her community together, inspiring hope and joy during her recovery from a brain tumor.

Wish Family

Rich believes that Florence's wish was a meaningful journey that brought joy and community to her life, allowing her to give back and create lasting memories for other children.

"This wish is very special to me and to our whole family. It's added another layer to the story that we have about [Florence's] cancer experience. It's continuously growing the story and making it better every day." – Rich, Wish Dad

Donor

Tim supports Make-A-Wish because he enjoys bringing joy to children with critical illnesses and appreciates seeing the tangible impact his contributions have on their lives.

“It’s very rewarding to be able to give to an organization where you have tangible results that occur almost immediately, and you see that through the stories of these kids."  – Tim, Donor

Wish Alum

Helen, a college student and wish alum, has been deeply involved in fundraising for Make-A-Wish by organizing various events through Chi Omega Fraternity, because she knows first-hand the powerful and life-long impact a wish can have on a child with a critical illness.

"I don't think I would be here if it weren't for my wish. It gave me hope and really got me through my cancer treatment."  – Helen, Wish Alum

Fundraiser

Amy Kay hosted a fundraising stream on her YouTube channel, because she saw it as a great opportunity to rally her community around children with critical illnesses.

"It really warmed my heart and it made me feel very proud to be a part of it. ... Hearing that what you did became this big thing, it makes you feel a part of something special." – Amy Kay, Fundraiser

Medical Partner

Dr. Vivian refers her patients for wishes because she finds joy in seeing the positive impact they have on children's emotional and mental well-being.

"I think having those wish experiences where they can just be a kid for the day really does a lot to boost their morale and to give them something to look forward to."  – Dr. Vivian, Medical Partner
